Set Free Prayer Ministry with Dr. Jim Gardner
Dr. Jim Gardner, Ph.D., LPC, is returning to Uvalde to offer free counseling sessions for community members wanting to overcome feelings of grief, anger, shame, sadness, depression, and anxiety. He uses the prayer principle of the Set Free Prayer Ministry to help people overcome these emotions associated with trauma so they can experience genuine peace and strengthen their relationships.

Drive-Through Live Nativity The Journey
Trinity Lutheran Church has planned a Drive-Through Live Nativity for the community of Uvalde. All are welcome to drive through to view six scenes depicting the story of the birth of Christ and celebrate the greatest gift ever given!

The Christmas Gift Shoppe
The Uvalde Methodist Church is hosting The Christmas Gift Shoppe children’s festival. School-aged children are invited to come make gifts for their teachers, bus drivers, neighbors, loved ones, etc. at a number of gift-making booths for FREE. There will be plenty of other Christmas activities to enjoy also!
Community Thanksgiving Service
All community members, family, and friends are invited to join the Uvalde Ministerial Alliance at the Willie De Leon Civic Center for a non-denominational Thanksgiving service.
